CHAMPIONSHIP & SEASON HONOURS (MEN'S)

From the 1974-75 season through the 2000-01 season, players and coaches were honoured with awards from the CCAA for their performance at nationals and/or during the season.

At each of the 23 CCAA Men's Hockey National Championships, a tournament all star team and a tournament most valuable player were selected. Cambrian's Chad Ford is the lone player to be selected to the tournament all star teams on three occasions.

The CCAA Coaching Award of Excellence was introduced in 1983. A total of 14 hockey coaches were recognized from 1983 through 1989 and 1998 through 2001.

CCAA All Canadian Awards were presented to hockey players from 1983 through 1990 and 1997 through 2001. Gerard Peltier of Humber and Canadore and Cleo Rowein of NAIT are the only three time All Canadians.

Hockey players received CCAA Academic All Canadian Awards between 1996 and 2001.

Four players were recognized with CCAA Player of the Year honours from 1998 through 2001.

CHAMPIONSHIP & SEASON HONOURS (WOMEN'S)

To date, no women's players and coaches have received awards from the CCAA.

CAREER HONOURS

In conjunction with the 40th Anniversary of the CCAA, the CCAA Hall of Fame was established with builder/contributor, coach, and player categories.

As of now, there is no catch-all category to recognize those whose achievements span more than one category or do not fit into any of the categories.

Four of the inductees have coached hockey teams to conference championships. Eleven hockey head coaches are currently eligible as none have been a coach in CCAA sport in the past five years.
